Considering the importance of the first aid services in an emergency, the college management in collaboration with Jigme Dorji Wangchuck Military Hospital, Dewathang conducted a 5-day ‘First Aid and Life Support’ training to train 26 college staff.
The participants were taught the basic life-saving first aid skills (BLS) such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), wound care, log roll techniques and how to respond to other medical emergencies like choking and snakebites.
