Linnaeus-Palme Partnership between JNEC and Lund University, Sweden
The main aims with this project is to strengthen the cooperation between Lund University (LU) and the Royal University of Bhutan (RUB), to support and strengthen the teaching and learning at the two universities and to give opportunity for both Swedish and Bhutanese students to study in a completely different cultural setting as well as giving the teachers at LU and at RUB the opportunity to teach and be inspired in different environment. It further aims to increase the internationalization efforts, both at LU department of Energy Sciences and at RUB Jigme Namgyel Engineering College (JNEC), to be able to give students and teachers the best preparation possible for an international/globalized working environment.
Through this project, three teachers from RUB and LU spend will spend 2 weeks at each other’s university teaching pre-agreed topics. Additionally, three students each will spend a minimum of 10 weeks at each other’s university doing their diploma work.
