On 7 November, the Deputy Chief of Police, Colonel Passang Dorji visited Jigme Namgyel Engineering College to sensitize the college college community on rising crime and drug abuse amongst the school and college students.
Dasho highlighted some of the common crimes committed by the students/youths are drug abuse, consumption of alcohol, battery, possession of weapons, burglary and issues related to relationship. He urged the students to be responsible citizen and not to get indulged in such a crime.
