A 5-day Professional Development course on teaching learning process was organised, from 30th January to 3rd February 2023.
A total of 40 academics from all departments attended the training. During the five days of refresher course, the participants were taken through the challenges and opportunities in higher education, inquiry-based learning (IBL) approach, cooperative learning strategies, educational assessment: opportunities and challenges, effective questioning techniques and handling students’ responses, summative and formative assessment tools, and hands-on practice on designing effective assessments.
The training was facilitated by two senior academics from Samtse College of Education.
