As a part of one of the missions of transferring skills to the people of local communities for the development of communities, the Center for Appropriate Technology (CAT) – A Research Center at Jigme Namgyel Engineering College (JNEC) conducted training on basic house wiring and basic plumbing with effect from 12 to 13 December, 2022 and 14 to 16 December, 2022 respectively.
A total of 10 participants from six different backgrounds including monks, technicians, school teachers and farmers attended 5 days course on house wiring.
And 8 candidates from five different organizations including Choki Gyatsho Institute of Buddhist Studies, Dungsam Academy, Garpa Woong Middle Secondary School and Dewathang Thromde attended three days course on basic plumbing.
