The Deans Selection Committee of JNEC has appointed Mr Hemlal Bhattarai, Assistant Professor in Electrical Engineering as the new Dean of Academic Affairs (DAA). Similarly, Mr Chenga Dorji, Lecturer in Electrical Engineering was appointed as the new Dean of Student Affairs (DSA). Both of them have been part of JNEC since 2006 and have served in various capacities in the past. They begin their tenures from July 1, 2023.
The appointment of new deans coincides with the implementation of the recently transformed curriculum and the roles of the deans are critical for successful implementation. We wish new deans GOOD LUCK in discharging new and additional responsibilities.
JNEC also offers its deepest appreciation to the two outgoing deans, Mr Samten Lhendup, DAA; and Mr Shah Bir Rai, DSA for their hard work and dedication for nearly six years.
