The Jigme Namgyel Engineering College, Dewathang under the Royal University of Bhutan is pleased to announce the following vacancies:

Eligibility Criteria:

A candidate must:

  1. Be a Bhutanese citizen.
  2. Have attained at least 18 years of age, and not more than 50 years of age.


Benchmark criteria for Laboratory Technician:
Candidates must have a minimum aggregate of 60% in Diploma & 50%each in Class X (English + best 4 subjects) and Class XII (English + best 3 subjects)

Benchmark criteria for Administrative Assistant:
Candidates must have a minimum aggregate of 50% each in Class X (English + best 4 subjects) and Class XII (English + best 3 subjects)

Reference Check:

  1. Two references should be professional referees from two different organizations’ if employed. If there is only one or no past employment record, one or both referees can be from the College/University where the highest qualification was obtained.

Documents Required:

  1. Marksheets of Class X, Marksheets of Class XII and Marksheets of Diploma & Degree)
  2. Valid Security Clearance Certificate (approved online and valid on the last day of the application).
  3. Valid Medical Fitness Certificate for Employment/Interview (valid on the last date of application).
  4. Valid Citizenship ID card (Both the side)
  5. Valid Audit Clearance Certificate, if employed.
  6. Employed Candidates must produce No Objection Certificate from the Parent/Working Agency within 5 working days after the selection interview, if selected.
  7. Experience Certificate(s)/documentary evidence(s) for current and previous employment records.

Note: Please note that it is the sole responsibility of applicants to ensure that all mandatory documents are submitted.

Eligible and interested candidates may apply for the positions via Online Portal RUB IMS (Applicants are required to register and apply via https://ims.rub.edu.bt/public/auth/view-login starting 9:00 AM of 10th February 2026 and latest by 4:00 PM on 23rd February 2026.
