The Jigme Namgyel Engineering College, Dewathang under the Royal University of Bhutan is pleased to announce the following vacancies:

Eligibility Criteria:

A candidate must:

  1. Be a Bhutanese citizen.
  2. Have attained at least 18 years of age, and not more than 50 years of age.
  3. Meets benchmark criteria: Faculty (FTA):

Candidates with Master’s Qualification (and above) must have a minimum aggregate of 60% each in Bachelor’s degree and Master’s Degree. However, both Master and bachelor’s qualifications must be relevant to the subject to be taught.

Candidates with Bachelor’s degree qualification must have an aggregate of 60% each in Class X (English + best 4 subject) and Class XII (English + best 3 subjects), and 60% in Bachelor’s degree. (Note: criteria will not apply for those with minimum of five years relevant experience).

Benchmark criteria for Laboratory Technician:

Candidates must have a minimum aggregate of 60% in Diploma & 50%each in Class X (English + best 4 subjects) and Class XII (English + best 3 subjects)

Benchmark criteria for Library Assistant:

Candidates must have a minimum aggregate of 50% each in Class X (English + best 4 subjects) and Class XII (English + best 3 subjects)

Reference Check:

  1. Two references should be professional referees from two different organizations’ if employed. If there is only one or no past employment record, one or both referees can be from the College/University where the highest qualification was obtained.

Documents Required:

  1. Degree Certificate of Bachelor’s degree and above (if any) ((In the event, recent degree certificate is yet to be awarded, provisional degree certificate must be submitted instead)
  2. Mark sheets of Bachelor’s degree and above (if any).
    (Grade Conversion of the mark sheet MUST also be submitted if the marks are awarded in CGPA).
  3. Marksheets of Class X, Marksheets of Class XII and Marksheets of Diploma & Degree)
  4. Valid Security Clearance Certificate (approved online and valid on the last day of the application).
  5. Valid Medical Fitness Certificate for Employment/Interview (valid on the last date of application).
  6. Valid Citizenship ID card (Both the side)
  7. Valid Audit Clearance Certificate, if employed.
  8. Employed Candidates must produce No Objection Certificate from the Parent/Working Agency within 5 working days after the selection interview, if selected.
  9. Experience Certificate(s)/documentary evidence(s) for current and previous employment records.
