The mission of Jigme Namgyel Engineering College is not only to provide quality education infused with GNH values and suitable in niche market but also to provide resourceful services through professional development training, consultancy and expert services.
With an intention to fulfill the mission of the College, group of student lead by Faculty from Department of Information Technology coordinated in providing community services using their expertise on 15th May 2019. They visited nearby academic institutes and organizations such as Dungsam Academy and Samdrup Jongkhar General Hospital in maintaining and troubleshooting computers. They also did a servicing of the system unit and troubleshoot its components problem.
