Student representatives of Jigme Namgyel Engineering College for Academic year 2020 were formally sworn with a symbolic oath taking ceremony on 10th October.
A total of 14 students were elected to represent the student body for the academic year.
During the oath taking ceremony, Dr. Andu Dukpa, President of the college, awarded Tashi Khadar to all the elected representatives and urged them to work with full dedication and commitment.
Further 4 elected House Advisors were also awarded Tashi Khadar during the the ceremony.
Coinciding with the ceremony, the academic toppers were also recognized and were awarded certificates and prizes as a token of appreciation for their effort.
