To mark the sacred occasion of Zhabdrung Kuchoe, the staff and students of Jigme Namgyel Engineering College, joined the nation to offer prayers and recite Jigten Wangchuk.
The annual event was organized by Dewathang Jigten Wangchuk Tshogchhung and was presided over by venerable Lam of Royal Bhutan Army, Dewathang.
Hon’ble Secretary of National Land Commission Secretariat (NLCS), Dasho Pema Chewang and few officials from NLCS also joined the 300+ students and staff in the recitation program.
Zhabdrug Kuchoe, the death anniversary of Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel, is a day to pay homage to Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel who first united Bhutan as a nation state.
