10 students and one faulty from Jigme Namgyel Engineering College (JNEC) is participating in the ongoing JST Sakura Science Exchange Program being held online from 18th October 2021.
The Sakura Science Exchange Program which is an annual event aimed at comparing the empowerment of community between Bhutan and Japan, is sponsored by Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST). This year’s exchange program is being hosted by SHOWA Womenʼs University (SWU) of Japan
The online event, which is also an avenue to share one’s own culture and tradition, is expected to take place over 5 days, twice a week, from 18th October – 3rd November. 10 students and a faculty from Sherubtse College is also participating in the event.
