Jigme Namgyel Engineering College joined the nation in celebrating the special occasion of the 66th Birth Anniversary of the His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo Jigme Singye Wangchuck on 11 November 2021.
The celebrations commenced with hoisting of the national flag, singing of the national anthem and offering of Zhabten for the wellbeing of The Visionary Great Fourth King of Bhutan.
This was followed by offering of a butter lamp and a cake cutting ceremony. The students and staff of the college then staged a cultural program.
To commemorate the Birth Anniversary, the students of the Department of Mechanical Engineering organized an exhibition to showcased their mini-project works.
Also, to mark the special occasion, JNEC Media Club organized photo exhibition and photography contest.
