The Presidents, Deans, Department Heads and Asst. Administrative officer of the two colleges comprising of 16 members, eight each from Jigme Namgyel Engineering College and Sherubtse College made a visit to Bangkok on 22nd January 2017 to undergo training on Leadership and Management of Higher Education Institutes. The training was coordinated by the two colleges with the financial support from the Office of His Majesty the King. The five days training from 22nd to 28th January 2017 in Bangkok was completely aided by the Officials of Silpakorn University. The training as a part of capacity and professional development was aimed to build necessary skills and knowledge of the faculty holding managerial position in the two colleges. The training was felt necessary as a platform to learn and understand the emerging dimensions and trends in the field of global education. The training is expected to enhance the leadership skills of the participants to further integrate the ideas and knowledge for the benefit of college and university.
