ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA a candidate must:

  1. Open to international and Bhutanese citizen for sl. no.1 (Lecturer)
  2. Must be Bhutanese citizen for sl.no. 2 (Assistant Liaison Officer)
  3. Have attained at least 18 years of age, and not more than 50 years of age.
  4. Meets benchmark criteria:
  • Candidates must have relevant master’s Qualification (and above) with a minimum aggregate of 60% each in relevant bachelor’s and master’s degree. Both Master and Bachelor qualifications must be relevant to the subject to be taught.
  • Candidates with relevant bachelor’s degree qualification must have an aggregate of 60% each in Class X (English + best 4 subject) and Class XII (English + best 3 subjects), and 60% in bachelor’s degree. (Note: criteria will not apply for those with minimum of five years relevant professional experience).
  • Meets experience and other requirements specified in the position profile of each position.

Eligible Bhutanese candidates for both the positions are requested to submit applications via online portal RUB IMS (applicants are required to register and then apply via https://ims.rub.edu.bt) latest by 14th April 2026, 4:00 PM. Please, follow the step-by-step procedures for online application.

Eligible international candidates for post of Lecturer are requested to submit complete set of documents through email at hr.jnec@rub.edu.bt. latest by 14th April 2026, 4:00 PM.

Reference Check:

  • Applicants are required to submit at least two references in the application form. Two references should be professional referees from two different organizations’ if employed. If there is only one or no past employment record, one or both referees can be from the College/University where the highest qualification was obtained. Candidates with incomplete reference details will not be considered for shortlisting.

Documents Required: 

  1. Degree Certificate of bachelor’s degree and above (if any) (in the event, recent degree certificate is yet to be awarded, provisional degree certificate must be submitted instead).
  2. Marksheet of bachelor’s degree and above (if any) (grade conversion of the mark sheet must also be submitted if the marks are awarded in CGPA)
  3. Mark sheet of class XII and Class X
  4. Valid Security Clearance Certificate (approved online and valid on the last day of the application) for Bhutanese Citizens
  5. Valid Medical Fitness Certificate for Employment/Interview (valid on the last date of application).
  6. Valid copy of Citizenship ID card (both side)
  7. Audit Clearance Certificate (general), if employed
  8. Employed Candidates must produce No Objection Certificate from the Parent/Working Agency within 5 working days after the selection interview, if selected.
  9. Applications with incomplete documents or invalid documents will not be considered.

Note: 

  • Please note that it is the sole responsibility of applicants to ensure that all mandatory documents are submitted.
  • Candidates must produce a Negative Drug Certificate, if selected.
