Jigme Namgyel Engineering College (JNEC) renewed and signed the MoU with Department of Renewable Energy (DRE) under the Ministry of Economic Affairs on 29th June, 2021. The Director of DRE, Phuntsho Namgyal and the Acting President of JNEC, Karma Drukpa signed the MoU in presence of officials from both DRE and JNEC virtually. The signing marks another important day for the college as DRE has been rendering continuous support to JNEC in providing relevant assistance for capacity development, resource supports and engaging students during Internship/On-Job-Training.
Director, DRE shared the enriched collaboration that the two organizations have in past which proved to be successful. Now when country is working extensively on the domain of renewable energy, the collaborative works with DRE and JNEC would be always instrumental towards the country. Similarly, the Acting President, JNEC shared the multiple benefits college has been receiving with its active collaboration with DRE in past and it would always be the wish of the college to work jointly with our stakeholders for the welfare of the country.
The signing of MoU between DRE and JNEC this time will further strengthen the collaboration between two organization. The college and DRE can further work towards coordinating series of activities including joint research, seminars and conference in the field of renewable energy. The college would like to thank Director and entire officials from DRE for the continued support. The college aspire to assure continued efforts to always work together for the betterment of the students, the institutions and the country.
