Jigme Namgyel Engineering College would be organizing a 5 day training on QGIS from 13th- 17th May, 2019.
This training is designed to introduce spatial professionals to the QGIS desktop application and provide them with skills to add value to their existing GIS toolkit. This training will benefit a novice GIS user looking to understand Basic GIS concepts. The objective of this course is to provide participants with basic understanding of the theory of database, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in general, and of QGIS in particular. No previous GIS software experience is necessary, however a knowledge of basic spatial and GIS concepts is beneficial.
