Jigme Namgyel Engineering College conducted a Basic AutoCAD Training from 20th to 29th December for participants from State Mining Corporation Limited (SMCL). The training was resourced by faculty of civil engineering programme under the Department of Civil Engineering and Surveying.
The training was intended to give foundation knowledge in the use of this powerful drafting software which is preferred across multiple disciplines like designing, architectural, engineering, etc. The trainees were introduced to essential and updated drafting and modelling tools of AutoCAD which will improvise their technical skills and improve their work efficiency. The sessions were enveloped with presentations, hands-on and exercises solely focused on field associated assignments.
The college frequently organizes trainings in the field of technical, engineering and management with a mission to provide resourceful services through professional development training. It anticipates to benefit government, private, corporate and non-governmental organizations around the country through organizing similar trainings in future.
The college aspires to provided trainings on Advance AutoCAD in response to acknowledgment from the trainees on its need and work relevancy.
